Laboratory Coordinator and Academic Officer
• Oversees the day-to-day operation and maintenance of our forensic science laboratories, ensuring a
safe and efficient learning environment for students.
• Plans, prepares and maintains labs, equipment, materials and reagents for the laboratory sessions,
ensuring accuracy and availability of inventory using our laboratory management software
• Demonstrates proper experimental techniques to teaching assistants, including theoretical
background information for the experiments.
• Ensures clean up and safe disposal of hazardous materials according to all necessary safety
guidelines and regulations.
Main Academic tasks:
• Assist in student administration – scheduling, teaching, learning, laboratory procedures, assessment
and documentation.
• Contribute to the Academic department’s overall administrative tasks, as required.
• Plan, prepare and maintain digital library resources.
• Support in managing ERASMUS + platform and programmes.
• Support in business development and marketing where appropriate.
• Experience in laboratory management, including planning and maintaining laboratories, equipment,
materials, and reagents for laboratory sessions.
• Availability to be based in Malta.
• Proficiency to teach in English.
Keeleoskus: inglise keel - nõutud (kõnes: C1 - väga hea, kirjas: C1 - väga hea)
Onboarding and specific training about internal systems will be provided.
Any assistance with accommodation/relocation
The employee will be supported in his/her accommodation for his first 15 days in Malta

Nõuded kandidaadile
• Bachelor’s degree in a scientific field.• Experience in laboratory management, including planning and maintaining laboratories, equipment,
materials, and reagents for laboratory sessions.
• Availability to be based in Malta.
• Proficiency to teach in English.
