Tööülesanded

As a maintenance mechanic in one of our workshops, either in the rolling-mill workshop or in the mold & segment workshop, you will play a key role in ensuring the operation and efficiency of our specialized equipment. You will work across a variety of technical areas, giving you the opportunity to apply and develop your skills in mechanical machining, assembly, hydraulics, quality inspections and measurement technology.

Nõuded kandidaadile

The work includes both preventive and reactive maintenance activities, which suits someone who enjoys problem-solving and has a “can do” attitude. This also means you have an eye for detail and a desire to continuously improve our work methods and processes. It is important that you are comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.
You should be able to communicate well in Swedish and/or English, as the work largely involves collaboration with colleagues.
We prefer candidates with a background in mechanical maintenance, ideally within heavy industry, and who hold a high-school diploma or equivalent qualifications.
Desirable experience includes:
• work in a rolling-mill workshop or a mold & segment workshop
• bearing maintenance and/or tribology
• quality inspections and associated measuring instruments
Personal attributes which we value include attention to detail, problem-solving ability and a strong sense of responsibility. It is also important that you are flexible and adaptable to changes in the work environment. You are proactive and contribute actively to improving and streamlining our work methods and processes. It is a must that you are comfortable communicating in Swedish and/or English and understand the importance of safety regulations to create a safe working environment for yourself and your teammates.
