Car mechanic / Diagnostics – Large Ford dealer
• Additional Ford or other brand specific diagnostic certifications are an advantage.
Professional Experience • Minimum 3 years of relevant workshop experience performing maintenance, repairs and advanced fault finding on passenger vehicles.
• Proven ability to interpret technical data and use modern diagnostic tools (e.g., Ford IDS/FDRS, OBD II scanners, oscilloscopes).
Technical Skills • Competence in electrical and electronic systems, CAN bus diagnostics, hybrid/EV safety procedures and software updates.
• Able to follow manufacturer service bulletins and document work in DMS systems.
Personal Attributes • Structured and quality conscious.
• Customer oriented with good communication skills.
• Able to work independently and in a team, even under time pressure.
Other • Willingness to attend Ford factory training courses in Norway or abroad.
• Eligibility to live and work in Norway.

Education / Certification • Norwegian “Fagbrev” (Craft Certificate) as Automotive Mechanic (letthus /personbilmekaniker) or equivalent trade qualification recognised by the Norwegian authorities.• Additional Ford or other brand specific diagnostic certifications are an advantage.
